Connecting to VPN
Connecting to VPN Check the status of your internet connection. If you are connecting to wireless, you should see if you are connected, or if you need to connect, and there are wireless networks available. Click to see the wireless networks available. Select the network to connect too. Enter the security key if prompted. If your connection icon looks like , you are ready to connect to VPN. First click on the start button, and type in “anyconnect”. Click on Cisco AnyConnect “Secure Mobility Client” The AnyConnect connection window will open. If the text field is empty, enter “hcdevpn.hcde-texas.org” and click Enter. Enter your credentials and click “OK”. On the bottom right of your screen you should briefly see a status window verifying your connection. Once connected you will have access to your network drives.

Change your default browser
Follow the below steps to change your default browser Click the Windows Start button. Type “default”. Click on Default Apps. Scroll to “Web Browser”. Select the browser you would like to use.
